Augmentations allow the body to be rebuilt beyond its natural limits through mechanical replacement, synthetic systems, engineered tissue, and biological modification.

Cyberware and Bioware can grant capabilities far beyond an unmodified body, but every augmentation carries an Anima Cost. Installing too much augmentation progressively weakens the character’s connection to their soul.

Cyberware relies primarily on artificial machinery and electronics. Bioware uses engineered biological systems and generally costs more, but tends to impose a lower Anima Cost.

Augmentation Grades modify an augmentation’s price and Anima Cost. General procedure rules are covered in Installing and Removing Augmentations.
